Hello Beauties, today I am reviewing a shampoo from Schwarzkopf. Winters just add to the woes of hair and during this time my hair seems to be out of control and frizzy, and therefore I have to depend a lot on hair care products, so when I spotted this shampoo I picked it up immediately because of the claims it made.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Oil Elixir Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in a golden bottle, with a black flip cap, the cap shuts properly and makes the bottle travel friendly, and there is no leakage even if the bottle is not kept straight. The product is made in Germany. My hair type is very frizzy hair which becomes dry due to cold winters and normal scalp during winters, and during summers I have oily scalp and normal hair. At first I was really confused which variant to pick up, as I do not have damaged hair but somehow I went for this one and I am so glad I did that. The shampoo inside is of medium consitency, it is not very watery or very thick. It is golden colored with tiny golden particles which reflect with light, its looks like liquid gold. It has a strong coco nutty smell in the beginning but it vanishes after rinsing.

As far as lathering is concerned, you need slightly more quantity as it does not leather much. There are some shampoos which lather a lot with a very tiny amount but they often strip hair off natural oils as well, where as this one is slightly different. It cleanses hair thoroughly well, without making it more oily or dry, but it does not give that squeaky clean feeling. It almost instantly hydrates hair making them so soft and manageable and completely frizz free. Whenever I oil my hair and use this shampoo I have to wash it 2-3 times to remove all the residue. And the hair stays the same afterwards as well, but because of the dry winters I cannot skip a conditioner. Another thing I love about it is that it does not weigh down my hair, which happens with me most of the time whenever I use a moisturizing shampoo. And therefore I can easily use this during summers as well, and I can skip the conditioner during that time.

I have been using this shampoo from a little over a month now and did not face any hair fall problems, some hair fall while washing hair is normal but it did not increase that. It says 95% less breakage, but it did not reduce any current hair fall so that claim is definitely not true. This shampoo is excellent for my frizzy hair and undoubtedly the best I have used so far, it made my hair so much more soft and manageable and adds a good shine to them from the first wash itself, I don’t think this would be great for people with oily hair.
