My Experience with CoverGirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation:
I am on my second pot of this CoverGirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation. That’s something different for me since it is very rare that I buy the same foundation in a row for I would like to explore different brands or lines from the same brand. I must have liked this foundation a lot. I have read positive reviews on Revlon Whipped Foundation, but I have not tried one yet. Those reviews for Revlon had influenced me to go get and try the whipped cream foundation from CoverGirl. It’s a format that’s new to me. Though I really would like to try Revlon Whipped Cream, I decided to go with Covergirl instead for I am sure of my shade in this brand and not with Revlon. Plus, CG is cheaper by $4 to 5 dollars if I remember correctly. I just got my pot for $7! My shade in this is Buff Beige and for reference, I am MAC NC25- 30 shade.
CoverGirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation comes in a small glass pot which is smaller than that of Revlon. It has 18 ml of product in it and has this whipped cream consistency. It’s really soft to touch and easier to spread on face compared to the cream foundations I have tried. I apply it with my Quo sponge, shaped like Beauty Blender and its working nicely with this CG foundation. It gives medium coverage on my face and was able to conceal redness and dark spots very well. At times, I don’t want a full on face foundation, I just use this CG Whipped Creme Foundation as an under eye concealer and set it with powder.
This product really lasts long on my face, with minimal wear of 8 to 10 hours. I only need to touch up a bit on my T-zone and I am good. It feels light on the skin and is very good on my oily areas! I don’t oil up as much. I do see shine on my T-zone, but not the oily shine. It is very good too on my dry areas, like around my nose and cheeks. It does not emphasize them which my MAC SFF does. This is simply an amazing product. In my FOTD posted, that was 6 hours after application, without re-touching. Look how smooth and flawless it looks. I look so dull without the foundation. I didn’t apply concealer in my under eye area in that photo and the foundation seems to wear down a bit in that area. I love the glow it gives to the skin. Now you know why this is my favorite foundation right now.
What I Like about Cover Girl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation:
- Feels light on the skin.
- Gives a nice glow to the skin.
- Good coverage, medium.
- Long lasting.
- Good for oily zone as well as for dry spots on the face.
- Does not settle in fine lines.
- Affordable at 7 dollars.
What I Do Not Like about Cover Girl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation:
- Appears to be too light for my skin tone when applied heavily.
Final Thoughts:
This is by far, one of the best foundations I have tried.
