My take on China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Re-Fresh Mint:
As the name suggests, Re-Fresh Mint is a shade of mint. I know that these type of shades looks beautiful in the summer season and dark colors look beautiful in winters, but I was looking for a similar color since past few months, but wasn’t satisfied with any and so when I saw this online, I instantly added it to my cart. This is a beautiful shade that does not contain any shimmer. I love shimmer nail paints but they sometimes become really difficult to remove.
Consistency wise, it is absolutely perfect, it easily glides on the nails giving an almost opaque color, but the color might look streaky in one coat and thus to make it look better and completely opaque, a second coat is required. 2 coats are enough to get a full opaque color. I have used these nail lacquers many times and I haven’t experienced any chipping, they do not chip. They start fading from the top section of the nails that too after 5-6 days, so I must say that its staying power is good. These nail lacquers have a small drying period and hence you do not need to sit with your hands stretched for a very long time.
These nail lacquers comes with nail hardeners which are good especially for ladies with week nails. I know that top coats are applied to increase the staying power of the color, but I sometimes apply it to give my nails a beautiful shine, but in the case of Re Fresh Mint, no top coat is required, neither for increasing the staying power, nor for making it shiny.
Over all I will say that I was always a fan of China Glaze nail lacquers, but this particular color has increased my affection towards China Glaze.
Pros of China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Re-Fresh Mint:
• Beautiful minty shade for summers ( but people like me who love such shades can also use it in winters)
• Smooth and easy to apply
• Its average sized brush makes the application uniform
• No streaking after the second coat
• 2 coats makes the color completely opaque
• Have inbuilt nail hardeners
• Amazing staying power

Cons of China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Re-Fresh Mint:
The only con I would say is the number of shades available in India. China glaze makes numerous shades out of which only few are available. But I am glad that at least some of the shades are available. But for this color, no cons from my side.
Would I buy this product again?
Yes of course, I’ll buy more China Glaze nail lacquers, and if I particularly talk about this color, then if till the time I finish this bottle I am unable to a similar color in different brand, I might re purchase it.
