L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss – Princess Lolly Review
Hello my beautiful buddies,
Happy Makar Sankranthi and Lohri gals! Hope this year brings blissful colors of happiness, joy and success in your life In our hometown, Makar Sankranti is celebrated by making “ghughutiya,” a sweet made from gur, aata, sooji moulded in various shapes and finally all these sweet shapes are strung together to make a garland. The most interesting part is that all kids wear this food garland in early hours of the morning and sing loudly “kale kauwa kale ghughuti mala khaale, le kauwa bada hume de sone ka ghada,” offering them to black crows! I so miss those songs and the fun while wearing the mala and eating ghughuti sweets! We believe that ghughutiya sweets are only made at one place in one generation by elders irrespective of circumstances. So, I usually skip making ghughuti sweets for my mil (the eldermost generation as of now). She prepares them, but I had been making a few sweets on ghughutiya parv since coming here. We usually prepare mala with popcorns and sweets just for Aadya and she enjoys a lot eating them from the mala, but we don’t see crows here, so she just misses singing the song loudly! Anyway, today, I am also here to share a beautiful sheer lip gloss known to almost every IMBBian, guess which one – L’Oreal Le Gloss. Please read on further to know more about L’Oreal Colour riche Le Gloss in Princess Lolly.

My Experience with L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss – Princess Lolly:
Well, I love gifts like any gal, especially without any occasion! We invited a few friends over for dinner because it was their first visit and they were new here! They all were so sweet to gift me chocolates and a set of cosmetics wrapped beautifully in a basket. The chocolates were finished off with a tug of war between Aadya and her mum (Thanx to daddy, he is not fond of sweets and chocolates) while glosses and gifts are solely mine I have never tried any orange outfit, neither any lip color, hence I jumped with joy when I saw this “Princess Lolly.” Princess Lolly seems like a true bright orange lip gloss when seen in the tube, but on hands and lips, it looks like natural pink surprisingly! It matches my lip color and looks almost natural. I expected it to be an orange gloss popping out my lips, but it is more natural that can be used on top of lipsticks.
I don’t think I can wear it alone because I love bright colors on lips since my wedding and winters always demand me to go for loud and bright lip colors! This is my first gloss from L’Oreal Le Gloss collection, hence I am loving it even with the natural tint. The texture is slightly thick and not very sticky unlike other glosses. It is devoid of shimmer and a very clear gloss, hence ideal for topping over lipsticks or can be worn alone (if you are not like me who loves dark and bright shades mostly), preferably for college goers I think. This gloss definitely revived my college days when I was a gloss gal!
It doesn’t bleed or settle in the fine lines of my lips. This gloss is so clear, still it manages to stay for 3-4 hours with meals and rinsing.
It does not leave any stain or residue behind once wiped off, just a moist hue, that’s it. I think this would be my only gloss from L’Oreal Le Gloss collection until summers arrive, for I am more into dark and bright shades now as I mentioned earlier. This shade definitely rocks and would be loved by all of you!
Let’s sum up the pros and cons:
Pros of L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss – Princess Lolly:
- A clear, juicy gloss with pinkish orange hue.
- Stays on for good 3-4 hours with meals.
- It does soften and hydrate lips as long as it stays on the lips.
- It is devoid of shimmer, hence ideal for daily use and college gals.
- Gives a nice natural pink hue on lips, slightly thick, but not sticky, hence does not become messy with hair sticking on the lips.
- A mess-free, travel-friendly packaging.
Cons of L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss – Princess Lolly:
- I was expecting it to be true orange gloss as seen in the tube :(
- It does transfer, but hardly visible.
I am glad I got chance to try L’Oreal Le Gloss, slightly disappointed in terms of shade. I love the gloss more in the tube honestly As I say, this is my first and last L’Oreal Le Gloss until summers arrive. If you love natural pinks and glosses, then this shade needs to be in your hit list gals! Hope this helps!!
Gals, I am sharing our last year’s ghughutiya parv pic, it was Aadya’s first Makar Sankranti and I am all set to prepare fresh ghughutiya sweets tonight or tomorrow!!
