Labello Lipcare Pearl & Shine
Hello Beautiful ladies,
I tend to stock lipbalms in my handbag during winters and this time when I went home I found this lip balm of my sister’s, kept in the fridge. It seems she forgot it at home when she came home last time. I have always heard good things about Labello Lipbalms so I thought of giving it a try to and kept this one for myself.
Price: something between 150-200Rs/- (as this is a imported product so price may vary from shop to shop)
Product Claim: With a kiss of rose and pearly shimmer, Labello pearly shine enhances the beauty of your lips. This new formula with precious pearl and silk extracts stores long-lasting moisture while natural oils soften and condition.A creamy treat that makes your lips velvety soft and silky smooth for longer.
Ingredients: Polydecene, paraffin, petrolatum, ceresin, cyclomethicone, isopropyl palmitate, copernicia cerifera, synthetic beeswax, lanolin alcohol, bisabolol, calendula officinalis, chamomilla recutita, melissa officinalis, caprylic/capric triglyceride, parfum.
My Experience with Labello Lipcare Pearl & Shine:
I like using lip balms which comes with a flush of colour, as that works as double product. I was expecting same with this lipbalm too, but I was disappointed. As this shade is too silvery pink, and it does not look good on my pigmented lips. On naturally pink lips it will look better. The shiny pink stays for 2 hours maximum and then leaves silver hue behind which I hate, coming to the moisturization part, there also this lip balm disappoints me. It has no moisturizing property, it feels waxy and the till the time the lipbalm is on lips don’t feel dry but after that it goes back to the old state. It has no hydration or healing property which dry chapped lips need in winters. It comes in twist up packaging which is easy to use and carry around. It has faint fruity smell which is not at all bothersome. In totality this lipbalm in pearl & shine is not a shade everyone can flaunt. And its moisturizing property is also not something we can count on in winters.

Final Verdict on Labello Lipcare Pearl & Shine: It failed for me as a colour lipbalm. Neither it did any wonder on moisturization front. So just skip it. in case you have naturally pink lips and like silver shine on them then buy this.
