VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub Review
Hi beauties,
The diamond bhasma thing really got on to me and I had picked up a polishing scrub along-with the wash-off mask. I used it for quite a few days and now reviewing for all of you, the new launch from VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub. It claims to have diamond bhasma which exfoliates skin for glowing complexion.
Ingredients:
Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Di-isostearyl Malate, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Diamond Oxide (Diamond Bhasma).
Price:
Rs. 199/- for 80 gm.
Packaging:
Comes in a regular plastic tube packaging. This diamond bhasma range has this see-through packaging which shows the glittery gel-like product inside. I think this is mainly done to allure the diamond lovers to have a glimpse of the diamond bhasma they are about to put on their face. There is a translucent sticker on the tube mentioning all details about the product.
Texture:
Now, this is the tricky part. Some like their scrubs to be rough, thick and coarse. I am definitely in that gang, but some like their scrub to be mild and gentle for every day use and that is totally understandable owing to the sensitive skin. This is very mild in texture and is like an oily jelly with micro granules. The jelly is transparent with visible glitters all over. I am saying jelly because I am sure you know the difference between the consistency of gel and jelly.
My Experience with VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub:
This is definitely not my cup of tea. Just as I said I like my scrub to be heavy duty, this one fails miserably in that department. It is really mild and the granules are micro-mini in size. You can hardly feel the grains on the skin and when it touches the skin, it can feel a bit scratchy. The texture being very oily, glides on skin but it’s kind of weird to keep massaging oily jelly on the face for 5-7 minutes as per the directions.
After washing off, I was left with oily face which did not require instant moisture, but the feeling was not too comfortable at the same time. I wanted to get rid of the oil and get a refreshing feeling. The scrub failed there too. There is no glow even for an hour. All you get is oily film on the skin which is not welcome to me. Very dry skin beauties might try out their luck on this. Not a great product for me, I might use it up as a mild body scrub
Pros of VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub:

Cons of VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub:
- Very mild.
- Leaves oily film on skin.
Hope you like the above review.
Thanks.
