Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black Review
Around some time back, I wanted a felt tip black liner. When I went to one of the malls, the SA showed me the Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black. I liked the fact that even though it was a liquid liner, it had a glossy finish to it. So, I dropped the idea of getting a felt tip liner and bought this one instead.

My Take on Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black:
The liner comes in a sleek black plastic bottle. It has a twist to open cap which has the liner brush attached. The wand of the brush is pretty long. The liner brush is made up of fine hair which stick together because of the liner. The tip of the brush is really fine which can draw really thin lines. The liner is fragrance free and is opthalmolagically tested.
The pigmentation of the absolute black eyeliner is a really absolutely black. It has a glossy finish which is different from the other liquid liners that I have used. The texture of the liner is neither too thin nor too thick, but it tends to dry out real quick. I need to dip the brush in the liner at least twice to draw a full line since it is quick drying.
The eyeliner is definitely water resistant. It does not come off with a splash of water. However, if you wet it and then rub, it peels off immediately. I like the fact that it does not smudge or budge with sweat or water and when it comes off, it comes out as a whole layer without causing black eyes.
The staying power at the most is 6 hours after which the whole liner comes off as a layer and not in patches.
Pros of Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black:
- Good staying power for a liquid liner, it stays for about 6 hours.
- Gives a glossy finish which is better than matte finish.
- Does not budge with water or sweat.
- Extremely quick drying.
- Ophthalmologically tested.
- Does not cause black eyes when removed.
- Can be easily removed with water.
Cons of Bourjois Liner Clubbing in Absolute Black:
- The wand of the brush is a little long, it needs practice to use the wand.
- The liner is a little too quick drying for my liking.
- Expensive.
- Can get clumpy during application.
- Comes off with a little rubbing.
- Hope you all love the above review.
- Thnxxxx.
