Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash Review

Face wash is one product which most of us use more than twice a day and which is an indispensable part of our skin care regime. I love experimenting with various face washes and have tried a lot of face washes till date. Last week, when I went to the super market for grocery shopping, I saw a new Joy’s counter at one corner of the shop. One friendly SA who usually helps me to pick the stuff during my purchases at that shop was in charge of that counter. When she saw me, she waved and urged me to come there. Then, she showed me stuff and requested me to purchase them. Since it was my first encounter with the brand, I didn’t want to disappoint her, and I picked up three products. One of the products is Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash about which I am going to write here.

Directions For Use:

Moisten face, squeeze abundant quantity onto wet hands and gently apply avoiding eyes. Rinse and pat dry.

This face wash comes in a pretty, simple, transparent plastic tube with plastic golden colored screw cap, nothing fancy about this packaging. Packaging is hygienic and travel friendly, but I prefer my face washes in a flip top packaging rather than screwed cap one.  The fragrance is very mild, fresh, pleasant and a bit fruity.  This face wash is in gel form, golden in colour with tiny golden particles.

My Take on Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash:

First of all, I must say that this product is easily available at a cheap price. The fragrance is refreshing but being very mild, it did not linger on for long. As far as its efficiency as a face wash is concerned, it is just an average product. This product claims to be herbal, but actually, it is loaded with chemicals. It does not lather easily, thus never gives that squeaky clean face post washing. I also feel that I am wasting the product,  now what is the meaning of this? It means I am not happy with the quantity of product that I have to use every time to wash my face.

At the very first instance, I took a pea-sized amount (this is the quantity which I want when I use other regular face washes) of it to wash my face, but post washing, I was not much satisfied with the results, so I used it again to get a clean face.Nowadays, I have made it a rule to use double the amount of what I was using previously for proper results. It did not lather well, however, still you have to splash a lot of water on your face to completely remove it. It cleans the face gently (read – no deep cleaning effect here) without stripping the moisture from the face. So all in all, it is just a so-so face wash, nothing special about it.

Pros of Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash:

• Easily available.
• Very affordable.
• Gel looks beautiful with golden glitter.
• Pleasant fragrance.

Cons of Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash:

• No effects of golden glow post using this face wash.
• You need a lot of water to remove it.
• Packaging could have been better with flip open cap.
• It is just an average face wash, so-so in performance.
• Would I Recommend Joy 24 Carat Gold Skin Glow Face Wash?
  As already mentioned, there is nothing special about this face wash, so I don’t have any reasons to recommend this to others .
