Homemade Hair Solution To Remove Product Build Up

Juggling between job and home, I am left with very little time for myself (whichever I get, I spend checking IMBB 50 times a day :D). No doubt our own kitchen holds the solution to every beauty problem, but due to scarcity of time, I try to involve in simple DIY’s. Apart from the oil factory in my T-zone, I have its branches in my scalp, so I shampoo daily, building up residue in my scalp from shampoo, conditioner and styling products. The end result is that my hair looks dull and dead. I wanted to get Neutrogena Anti-Residue shampoo since long, but it is not available easily. So, here is a simple DIY to make anti-residue solution at home, given to me by mom. I have been using it since 5 months and it works wonderfully.

All you need is

Lemon juice from half a lemon.
One tea spoon apple cider vinegar.
One tea spoon honey.
A thin teeth comb.
Mixing bowl and spoon.
Two tablespoons warm water.

Simply, squeeze out half a lemon juice in a bowl, add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and honey each and mix into a homogeneous mixture. Then, add two tablespoons of warm water to increase the quantity of the solution to cover the entire scalp. (Please don’t add any other liquid nor increase the quantity of lemon/apple cider vinegar)

You can wear a shower cap if you like; apply to scalp and keep it for a maximum 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm or cold water. Shampoo as usual and don’t forget to use conditioner after this. Air dry your hair, detangle and then use comb while concentrating the strokes on scalp. The process can be repeated depending on your routine to use hair products. I repeat it every three weeks (3 weeks to 1 month period is adequate between repetitions).
