Catrice All Round Mascara – Ultra Black
People like me who wear specs do not enjoy mascara’s as much as lucky ones without specs do, but still they are must have in makeup stash. This is my first product from Catrice and an online purchase; let’s find out if it impressed me.

My take on Catrice All Round Mascara – Ultra Black:
This was purchased online and when I used it first time, it clumped my lashes; so I had a very bad impression and I never touched it for weeks. Then one day, I sorted out by swatching the brush on fingers that they have sold me a dry piece!!! I added 5-drops of rose water and now it works superb. So I will conclude that the actual consistency of mascara was neither thick nor runny, it is jet black and doesn’t clumps my lashes at all. The manufacturer should have mentioned the manufacturing date and shelf life.
Coming to the performance, this is quite an all-rounder. The wand and the brush has dense bristles and they reach out every lash individually, in both upper and lower lashes. Application in corners is workable as well. Applying two-three coats add excellent volume to the lashes’ making every single lash look thick. The mascara adds length to the lashes and curl too. But curl isn’t as impressive as volume and length effects provided by this mascara. It leaves few flakes in lashes so I have to be careful and precise in application. To avoid this, I keep rotating the wand during application. It is not waterproof but doesn’t come off with water or face wash until I rub hard; a make-up remover or oil is needed to remove it completely. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Doesn’t makes lashes stiff. But starts flaking after say three hours of application
