Aroma Magic Orange Blossom Body Wash Review

Aroma Magic Orange Blossom Body Wash Review

Hi beauties,
How are you? Today, I am reviewing Aroma Magic Orange Blossom Body Wash.  I bought it along with the Fogg Body Spray.  I was looking for a good herbal body wash for this summer, so I picked it up.

Price:
300 INR for 500 ml.
Shelf Life:
3 years.
Product Description:
I am 100% of parabens, harsh chemicals, alcohols and artificial fragrance. I am a natural body cleanser formulated out of plant extracts, vitamins and anti oxidants. Orange blossom extracts condition, soothe and deeply nourish the skin. They also help in cell regrowth and prevent ageing. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties heal the blemishes on your skin. My pure blend of lavender , neroli and petitgrain essential oils treat acne and relaxes your body tissues after a bath. I leave you soft , gorgeous and in a mood to celebrate. My fresh , fruity aroma refreshes, elevates the mood in an instant and keeps your skin glowing.
Ingredients:

Aqua, apple cider vinegar, Cocos Nucifera, Lavendula Angustifolia essential oil, organic vegetable gum, Citrus Aurantium essential oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara essential oil, orange blossom extract, Tocopherol- Rich extract vit-E, optiphen, colour (food grade).
Packaging:
Packaging of Aroma Magic orange blossom body wash is attractive, it’s not that white bottle at all.  It comes in a clear see-through plastic bottle with a very gorgeous labeling. It has a pump dispenser which makes it more user friendly. The bottle itself is very big, so not travel friendly.  It leaks if the pump is open and if it’s in a lying position. Whenever I try to lock the pump, I end up with wasting some product.  Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic uses recyclable packaging.
Color/Texture/Scent:
This body wash has a very bright orange color which I like the most.  It has a gel like but a little runny consistency, but I have no problem with the texture. When I first used this product, it seemed a very strong scent, but I am okay with it now and quite liking the citrus orange smell.  The scent does not linger after the shower.
I am using this from the last 10 days and when I use it with my hands, it does not lather well.  I have no issue because I don’t like too much lather. When it is used with a loofah, it lathers well.  As it claims, it deeply cleans and also brightens my skin to some extent. But there is no relaxing effect.  This body wash is not over drying at all. I have normal body skin (though my facial skin is oily) and I apply light moisturizer after using it.

Pros of Aroma Magic Orange Blossom Body Wash:

  • Nice color and texture.
  • Citrus fruity smell.
  • Affordable.
  • Easily available.
  • Only 3-4 pumps are enough for one-time use.
  • Free of parabens, harsh chemicals, alcohols, and artificial colors.
  • Contains lavender, neroli, and essential oils.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Deeply cleans and brightens skin to some extent.

Cons of Aroma Magic Orange Blossom Body Wash:

  • Not 100% soap free.
  • No relaxing effect.
  • Full list of ingredients missing.
  • Not a travel-friendly packaging.
  • Not everyone would like the citrus scent.
  • May feel stretchy on extremely dry skin.
This body wash does its job nicely, cleanses my skin very well without over drying and also brightens up skin.
Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Blue Review

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Blue

Recently I went out of my usual blue liner from Faces in Navy blue and hence was looking for something else this time, as I have been repurchasing the faces one since long now and wanted to try something new, that is when I stumbled upon this one I have already used the black, grey and white from this range and quite liked them, so had high hopes from this one as well. I have been using it regularly since last two weeks now and here’s what I think about it.

Product description:
• 10 Hr.
• No smudging.
• Waterproof.
• Dermatologically tested.
Price: Rs 250 for 0.35 Gms

My Experience with Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Blue:

The packaging is similar to that of the regular eyeconic kajal. The packaging is black and turquoise blue tube, which is twist up so there is no product wastage, the packaging is sturdy and the cap fits properly making it travel friendly. It is really compact and can be carried around easily. I wish the packaging was color coded in the same color of the shade.
The color is a deep dirty blue, which looks quite dull and is completely matte. The color almost looks black from distant and lacks the inkiness that regular blue eyeliner should have. It will show up well on all skin tones. It almost looks like a darker version of eyeconic grey when swiped only once. In the swatches the color does look really disappointing but somehow on eyes it looks quite good. But the color definitely needs improvement as it is certainly not a true blue. But then for those who fear away from wearing colored liners, this is a great option to experiment with as the color is quite dark and does not seek a lot of attention. Also it looks quite good when smudged out to create Smokey eye look.

Another disappointing aspect is the color payoff; it is not very pigmented and as I told before just in a single swipe it looks almost like a dark grey color and at least 2-3 swipes are required to get complete color pay off. You do need to go over and over again. But thankfully the texture is very smooth, creamy and soft and there is no tugging while application and can be build up really well. But because of the creamy texture and poor color payoff one will go through it rather very quickly especially if you like wearing thick eyeliner, I am already halfway through it

It is completely waterproof as lakme claims and smudge proof to an extent. It stays in place without smudging for 7-8 hours on my top lash line and on waterline it starts smudging after 4 -5 hours. The 10hrs claim is definitely false. And if you have habit of rubbing your eyes ever so slightly it does smudge a little. I did not face any irritation or anything when I used it on my waterline. I have swiped it 3-4 times each.

Pros of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Blue:

• Smooth and creamy texture
• Sturdy packaging
• Safe for sensitive eyes and waterline
• Twist up packaging
• Waterproof and smudge proof to an extent
• Completely matte
• Reasonably priced

Cons of Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Blue:

• The color is not a true vibrant blue
• To make it look like a blue liner at least 2-3 swipes are required
• 10 hours claim is not true
• It is not completely smudge proof

Do I recommend Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Blue?
I do not recommend it to anyone because of the color as well as poor pigmentation, this particular shade.
Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.

Outfit for girls: Earth Tone Evening Gown

Outfit for girls: Earth Tone Evening Gown

Hello Beauties!
Today i am revieving a ever loveliest and preety outfit!! Sometimes I wasn’t sure about my makeup, sometimes about the hairstyle, sometimes about my outfit and others times I couldn’t get good clicks.  Finally the day came! All the necessities for the outfit post were catered to the perfection – it was my sis Engagement Day, the 15th of December, 2013

My sis and their hubby were knowing each other since they were in school.

She wanted her  outfit to be as subtle as possible and at the same time not understated. The gown has an earthy tone. Along with the thread work in different tones of brown and oxidized golden bead work, brown crystals are also used for embellishment which does not make the outfit blingy. There is a layer of golden net in self design beneath the outer most layer of the gown which has a curly hem.

At the very first sight, She fell in love with this gown. She just went to one more store (CTC Plaza) to check out the range and variety of gowns, but, came back and finalized this one only. By September end, She hsd her engagement outfit ready with her (almost two and a half months before the actual day, what a relief it was..phewww!!).

The ceremony was during the day. She kept the accessories minimalistic (just the small drop earrings and the bracelet), kept her neck bare with subtle makeup and for nails she decided to go for a French manicure.

My sis  was having  fun and  getting the photo-shoot done with posing and all, felt like a celebrity  the photography team was simply amazing!

Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.

Price: $7-$9 for 0.5 Fl Oz (15 ml), I got it for $ 4.99

Ingredients: Ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, propyl acetate, tosylamide/formaldehyde resin, isopropyl alcohol, trimethyl pentanyl diisobutyrate, triphenyl phosphate, ethyl tosylamide, camphor, stearalkonium bentonite. May contain: Mica, dimethicone, polyethylene terephthalate, calcium sodium borosilicate, calcium sodium borosilicate, alumina, silica, hydrogenated polyisobutylene, palmitic acid, diamond, tin oxide, calcium/aluminum/sodium silicate, CI 77120, CI 77163, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77499, CI 77510, CI 19140, CI 15850, CI 73360, CI 15880, CI 77000, CI 75170, CI 42090, CI 47000, CI 60725.
Description: OPI Euro Centrale for the 2013 Spring/Summer Collection takes us into the heart of central Europe, with all its diversity and lushly vibrant color perfectly captured into nail lacquer. My Paprika is Hotter than Yours, is a bright hot orange with slight silver shimmer. Rich shade, great creamy smooth formula. Two coats will do.

Packaging: This creamy vibrant nail paint comes in as usual sturdy glass bottle packaging with classic black cap. OPI embossed cap totally adds wow factor. It is travel friendly and sturdy enough unless it reaches in Aadya’s hands, she has already broken my previous OPI “On Collins Avenue” bottle.

My take on OPI Nail Lacquer My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours:

You all may guess how I always get this reddish orange nail paint in my stash ..  I have good consumer service at home and my stash is cleaned up periodically hence no tension of expiry dates. By the way, orange is my most favorite fruit apart from third most favorite color after red/pinks. Needless to say I picked it up only to replace my belated nail paint. It does resemble to my previous OPI nail collections but in person, all three “I eat mainely lobster”, “on Collins avenue” and this “my paprika is hotter than yours” are slight different yet twin sisters..  This particular “my paprika is hotter than yours” has subtle silver shimmers which hardly show up on nails except in sunlight, which is good as I don’t like too much glittery nail paints. It looks more like “jogiya” color, you know saint’s orange color with slight hint of red. I am welcoming summers with this bright orange shade on my nails now days and love it. It instantly brightens skin tone and soothes my eye pupil. Moreover, it goes very well with my black outfits and other yellow, multicolored outfits which saves me from the pressure of changing nail paint frequently for every outfit.
Talking about texture, it is really thick and creamy unlike other similar shades, it gives me perfect opaque coverage in just 1 swipe and I need second swipe for shiny finish. It is impressive to see it gives streak free finishing every time. I am sure this bottle will last longer as compared to other shades (not to forget, I need to keep it in secure bank locker away from my kid). The glossy, shiny finish lasts for 1-2 weeks on my nails however it chipps off on 4th-5th day of first week. I am impressed that its shine, glow does not fade and this shade remains intact on my toe nails for 2-3 weeks though. Over all, I love this nail paint and I guess using OPI or any other brand top coat would help me with chipping. I would recommend this bright summery shade to every gal irrespective of skin tone. This is such hot & happening shade for summers isn’t?

Pros of OPI Nail Lacquer My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours:

• A subtle shimmery yet bright orange nail paint
• It does what it claims. Two coats are more than enough to give full coverage, glossy finish on nails
• The glossy shine remains intact for 1-2 week unless the nail paint chips off completely
• It gives fully opaque streak free coverage in just first swipe
• I only need second swipe to build glossy finish
• A DBP, Toluene & Formaldehyde free nail lacquer
• In spite of silver sparkles it is soft, creamy and most vibrant nail lacquer in my stash
• It remains intact for 2-3 weeks on my toe nails
• It will compliment any outfit and any skin tone
• They are often available at affordable discounted price

Cons of OPI Nail Lacquer My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours:

• I don’t why these nail paints chip off very 4th-5th day of wearing it. It takes slight a moment to dry completely hence I often struggle hard for clear glossy finishing
Apart from these self made cons, I do not think I need to skip it or I should demoralize you from trying such vibrant summery shade. It is a must have shade however, if you already own any of its twin sister “on Collins avenue”, “I eat mainely lobster” etc then you might give it a skip unless you have tricky consumer service at home to screw your stash like mine.. lol However I tried its sister shades and still I love and I can recognize which particular shade is on my nails currently.
Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.

Outfit for girls: Skater Skirt

Outfit for girls: Skater Skirt

Hi everybody,
How are you all doing? I am just staying indoors these days, studying and eating. With all this exam worries I am trying to loosen myself by a few shopping trips and chocolate cakes. I have already started with shopping for summers and ended up with a couple of skirts, maxi dress and maxi skirts and sunnies too. What about you all?

Coming to the OOTD, I wore a skater skirt last week for movies.
All this exam pressure has taken a toll on my weight; I am two kilos heavier now. :sob: But then I found this skirt which is an absolute savior. Unlike bandage skirt which causes dents on your problem areas, skater skirts are fitted on the waist and flared out flattering your curves. I got one in black and white stripes and now I am hunting for a one in a bold color.

I have paired the skirt with a hot pink tank although a crop top would have looked perfect. But you know tummy issues. I wore black and pink heels and added a blue polka dot purse to break the monotony of pink. Makeupwise kohled eyes and inglot 421 on lips.

Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.

Outfit for girls: Pink Blazer

Today 's Outfit Of the day is - Pink Blazer

Hello people!
This is the Outfit of the Day, and with this one, I return to being the city-gal!

I am sure I have told you all before how much I love airport fashion. I love dressing up for my transfers, even more than my stays!  So this is what I wore on my way back home.

The big bag and the flat shoes make the look functional. The loose pants and the basic tank make me comfortable, and lastly, the blazer makes it chic. The colors- baby blue, silver and hot pink wrap the look up in all their pride, which in my opinion, is the perfect way to end the holiday!

Outfit Details:
Everything Zara, except the bag (Forever New) and sunglasses (Aldo).

Hope you all like!
Have a great day you all, take care!

Colorbar Spotlight Illuminating Lotion Review

Colorbar Spotlight Illuminating Lotion

A sheer luminizing moisturiser with special light-reflecting pigments that veils the skin in a soft, pearly glow. Enriched with ‘Hyaluronic Acid’, it keeps skin thoroughly hydrated and plumped.
Apply on just-cleansed, toned and treated skin for a fabulous glow and dewy finish. Or mix with your favorite foundation for an increased glow.

INR 950
This is a very unique product I was keen to pick up.This is a illumination lotion. This acts like a light moisturizer but gives your skin a glow, in this case a pinkish glow.Well take a look at the product
The lotion is nicely packaged and the pricing of this whole range is on the steep side. The lotion comes in a pump dispenser and it can be twisted up to bring out the nozzle. There is no cap as such. The lotion is thick in consistency and you can see how pink it is from the very first time you swatch it.
The lotion is iridescent and it has this pink and metallic kind of duochrome sheen to it.You may have used a lot of silvery highlighter but this is the first time I have seen a pinker highlighting lotion. This can be a boon for dry skin provided you have neutral skin tones. The lotion is not for very oily skin or for people who like matte makeup base.
The lotion can be mixed with your skin care or primer or foundation which I think is brilliant for dull and dry skin. This feels very pink person so choose wisely.when mixed with lotions or foundation it works in less pinker way than on its own.It will add a soft sheen to your foundation.again this is not for matte skin lovers.
On its own I used it on areas I would highlight otherwise.Cheek bones, center of the forehead etc chin may be.On the cheeks it made me look very oily.It was hardly even visible. When I stood under the light, I could see a duochrome sheen which was too pink, only at an angle. Otherwise from a distant it looked like my skin it oily. But I have to say it is very natural and not very metallic.

I am in two minds about how pink and natural it is,the pink in it is metallic and it barely shows.I have oily and pinker skin tone most days and it makes me look more pink.It is necessary you use it on a base, on its own it looks bad and too pinky on me.Thankfully the texture is not oily.
It is very light and dull skin would like it a lot.Dry skin can use it too but if you have oily skin or if your skin tone has pink to it please skip it.You need to use very less amount or else you would look like you are sun burnt or something.Do not forget the long list of chemicals.
The worst part is it just vanishes on my oily skin in two hours or even lesser. It simply does not do anything for oily skin but adds a sheen and also might accentuate pores slightly. On the good side it is not shimmery or chunky,it is very subtle.

Try it if you have neutral skin tone, dry and dull skin and like a slight pink sheen to skin.Dry skin would even get some light moisturisation out of it. Please dont expect much from its staying power or visibility. For oily skin it is a miss.It is very overpriced though it is unique. It is not a must have product, just something you could try out of curiosity. Remember this does not have shimmer, only a pink sheen.

Hope you all love the above review.
Thanks.
