Today I am going to review one of my favourite hair styling tools, my straightener from BaByliss. It works wonders for my hair and the best part is that it could be used with cord and without it too, isn’t that great?

My Experience with BaByliss 2099U Total Freedom 230 Cordless Straightener:
I have been using this straightener for almost 2 years now and I am smitten with it.I have moderate wavy hair that are prone to frizz, even though I use some products to tame that frizz I needed a straightener to make them look sleek and shiny (it was my dream to have shiny and straight hair). The cordless option got me more interested into this tool and it was quite decently priced. The cord is 3 metres long which is pretty good for a straightener or you have to get a power socket near the mirror, but with this you could even go cordless and walk around the house while you style the hair.
The handles are ergonomically designed and heat resistant-cool touch. I have not used the highest heat setting till now and the end results are shiny and glossy straight hair. I use the cordless option when I am in a hurry and find it irritating to sit near the mirror for too long *rofl* The heating time is 10-15 seconds which is very fast indeed and that does help while you want to get ready in less time and the hubby is waiting all dressed up When I use the cordless mode the heat works till 3-4 minutes then I have to again put it on the power base to charge, so due to this factor I prefer to use the cord more often. The ceramic plates are pretty long as well as wide and they maintain the heat well. It’s one of the best hair straighteners I have ever used and it give a nice frizz free finish. This is an amazing hair styling too, a must have for everyone who likes to have sleek, poker straight hair.
